How Do I Obtain a Gourd Drum?
While we occasionally sell some of our gourd drums on this website, our inventory is typically limited to Basic Hand Drums. The best way to obtain a gourd drum is to make your own! If you are interested in obtaining any of the drums listed on the instruments page, our book Gourd Drum Engineering provides detailed instructions on how to make all of the instruments listed there, as well places for sourcing materials, alternative methods of construction, and suggestions/tips on taking gourd drums to the next level.
How Do I Place An Order?
To place an order select an item you would like to purchase by clicking the “add to cart,” then continue shopping until you are ready to complete your purchase. Click “Checkout” to confirm your items. After you have made any changes and updated the quantities as desired, click “Check Out” to complete your order.

How Will I Know That My Order Was Accepted?
You will receive an email confirmation shortly after your order has been placed. Please allow 2-3 business days for order processing. Feel free to contact us direct with any questions via email at info@gourddrumengineering.com.
Can I Cancel My Order After It Has Been Placed?
We immediately begin processing orders once they are submitted. If your order has not yet been shipped, we can refund the full payment minus a 2.9% transaction fee based on the cost of our payment provider.
If you receive a defect or damaged product after ordering, we gladly offer a full return.
How Do I Check My Order Status?
You can check your order status visiting the “Order Status” link located at the bottom of the site. Please allow 2-3 business days for order processing. Feel free to contact us direct with any questions via email at info@gourddrumengineering.com.
PREPAID RETURN/ EXCHANGES PROCESS
- Returns are accepted within 30 Days from the day the order was placed
- Include your original Invoice
- Indicate items you would like to return
- Check your return form for accuracy
- Securely repackage your merchandise. Cover or remove any original mailing address label or shipper barcodes from package
